Abstract

Reports the developments at the Yale laboratory, in its 3rd year (Psychological Review, Vol 2, 1895). C. E. Seashore investigated the suggestive influence of size on judgment of weight; hallucinations of warmth; effect of expectation and suggestion on the least perceptible differences of lights; and hallucinations of a non-existing object. J. M. Moore studied the subject of fatigue. E. M. Weyer succeeded in measuring the reaction time of a dog, and devised a method of measuring the dog's time of thought. About 30 or 40 new instruments were invented and constructed. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
