Established a description of counselee subroles within secondary school counseling interviews and explored the characteristics of the subrole behavior. The classification system resulted in 10 counselee subroles and this taxonomy was used to study the nature of the school counselee subrole. It is suggested that a classification can be developed which will provide a basis for studying counselee verbal behavior within the counseling interview.
