Abstract

Argues that several weaknesses in L. E. James and M. E. Foreman's (see record 1974-07703-001) study do not support their conclusion that the A-B therapist variable is associated with outcomes of behavior therapy. The authors' concept of enuresis as a neurotic disorder is questioned, and the failure of the experimental design to insure a random assignment of the therapist to each case and the failure to investigate personality factors in both the children and their mothers are examined.
