Abstract

Suggests that J. E. Hunter and F. L. Schmidt's (see record 1979-22562-001) conclusions regarding the following 3 issues are both statistically questionable and irrelevant to practical issues involved in differential prediction: (a) the sample terms in which the present author's definitions are stated; (b) the issue of data preselection for inclusion in further analysis; and (c) the interpretation of the present author's findings of differential validity.
