80 preschoolers observed same-sex adults exhibiting 1 or 4 motor and verbal affectionate or aggressive response sequences during incidental modeling. Significantly more direct matches resulted with the single-sequence demonstrations, while multiple demonstrations led to significantly more response class matches. Differences in girls and boys regarding affectionate and aggressive behaviors are discussed. (3 ref) (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
