Abstract

Reviews the book, The Juvenile Offender: Perspective and Readings by Clyde B. Vedder (see record 1955-01217-000). As the subtitle indicates, this book is a collection of readings from periodicals dealing with the subject of juvenile delinquency. Each chapter starts with a brief discussion of the particular aspect of juvenile delinquency by the author of this volume, well documented from authoritative treatments, and followed by the periodical readings. Nevertheless, the variety of articles is great, and most of the authors are outstanding authorities in the field. It is a valuable source book for the student of juvenile delinquency (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
