Abstract

In this chapter there will be discussed several methods of procedure which have been utilized in the past by psychologists and which may be considered standard procedures for the types of experiments where they apply. It is wise for the beginner to use a standard and well-defined procedure in his experiment wherever possible. By so doing, he is less likely to go astray than if he set about designing new methods of procedure himself. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2016 APA, all rights reserved)
