Abstract

This chapter is intended to cover human adjustments and their bodily basis. Topics discussed include: some simple reflexes, reinforcement or inhibition of a reflex; reflex time and reaction time; muscular work and fatigue; the stimulation of motor points; outline of nerve distribution; and the gross anatomy of the brain.
